It’s August and that means back to school for most kids around the country. In honor of our students and teachers heading back to the schoolhouse this month we created the Realize 3D Printed Apple. We created this fruit prototype in one of our SLA Viper machines and then had our custom finishing department give the part a realistic feel by using custom paint and clearcoat. Best of luck in school this year to all!

The Realize Photo of the Week
3D Printed parts can go through many different phases before a prototype would be considered finished. After we create the parts in the machines we have other places they may go here at headquarters. Here is an image of a Realize team member working on our bead blaster machine which we have named “The Blastinator.”

Here are the latest examples of clear coat finish parts from our sample kit. Is this something that you could use for your next SLA prototype? Any questions on the capabilities of clear coat can be directed to our team. CONTACT US
Pokemon Fun at Realize Inc.
Realize has some fun with the latest craze. Pokemon has been a beloved franchise for many years, but now the fans can catch Pokemon in the real world using the new Pokemon Go app. Pokemon Go is a game/application that allows people to use their phone or tablet to go outside and catch pokemon using location mechanics and the camera on the device. Here at Realize, we wanted in on the fun too. We found a wild Drowzee next to our SLA machines in the lab. Gotta catch em’ all!
