Realize brings in Envisiontec

Realize is excited to announce that we are one of the first companies to take part in a new beta/eval program with EnvisionTEC.

EnvisionTEC’s Vector 3SP® 3D printer allows for production of large 3D parts at fast build speeds without sacrificing the surface quality and part accuracy that EnvisionTEC is known for. The Vector 3SP uses EnvisionTEC’s 3SP (Scan, Spin, and Selectively Photocure) technology to quickly 3D print highly accurate parts from STL files regardless of geometric complexity. The Vector 3SP® is delivered and installed with all the relevant software to enable automatic generation of supports and perfect model production. The surface quality of the printed models show no signs of stairstepping on the inner and outer surfaces. The Vector 3SP includes a build envelope that is 29% larger than the ULTRA 3SP with increased speed capabilities making it an attractive solution for a wide range of manufacturing applications.

“As a long time user of Somos resins, we are excited to see how it performs on the EnvisionTEC  platform.  The Vector 3SP will be our first venture into EnvisionTEC’s technology, and we can’t wait to see how it fits in here at Realize.”

Realize News: IMTS

imts_12

Earlier this month, Realize Inc. spent a day at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago. Our team had a great time networking and seeing the latest trends in manufacturing and additive technology. It was amazing to see all of the new ways being developed to create prototypes. The cutting edge machines and systems on display are doing more and with greater speeds. We talked with our team about their experience so we could share it with you.

“The show featured a new Additive Manufacturing pavilion that focused on how far 3D technology has progressed. Companies were there to show off their 3D products such as 3D Systems Figure 4 setup. An automated, modular SLA style 3D printing system. Another interesting item was the Infinite- Build 3D Demonstrator from Stratasys which can virtually build a part of unlimited size. It was exciting to see some of the new advancements in machines, materials and processes that can make additive manufacturing a reality in providing industrial solutions.”

“There were a couple technologies that stuck out at the show for me.

The Lasertec 65 3D by DMG Mori combines a 3D printer and CNC mill in one machine. You can build parts with the additive technology and then finish them with the subtractive manufacturing.  It is a unique way to solve the challenge of the post processing metal parts.

The EOS  M 400-4 metals printer has four lasers to build metal parts at rapid speeds. The productivity increase was impressive.”
